MitID

The Danish national eID is called MitID and is each citizen's personal key to digital services in Denmark.

Tax card

When coming to Denmark to work, you need a personal tax number and a tax card. You can apply for that here.

U2 form - exporting unemployment benefits

You must submit a U2 (PDU2) form in order to receive unemployment benefits from abroad.

General guidance

Moving to a new country can be challenging, and we’re here to help make your transition to Denmark as smooth as possible.

Outside of Copenhagen

International Citizen Service can help you with your registration even if you do not live in Copenhagen.
