General guidance

As an addition to the existing registration services, International House Copenhagen also offers general guidance during opening hours.

The guidance is provided by experienced staff from the City of Copenhagen, who can offer practical information and point you to relevant sources where you can explore and learn more on topics such as 

• housing and digital services
• healthcare and childcare
• language schools   
• culture, sports and leisure
• paperwork and practicalities.

The general guidance is open to all international Copenhageners – you just drop in and take a number within the opening hours of International House Copenhagen, which you can see below. Please note, however, that the guidance does not involve individual case processing or CPR registration.

Job and career guidance  

If you are looking for guidance specifically related to job and career, you are welcome to make use of our guidance at two locations. You can visit International House Copenhagen on Mondays 09.00-15.00 or Københavns Erhvervshus/Business House Copenhagen on Gammel Køge Landevej 43, 2500 København from Wednesday-Friday 09.00-15.00. 

At both locations, experienced staff are available during opening hours to provide general job and career guidance on the Danish job market, help to start your job search in Denmark and info on specific job and career programmes offered by Københavns Erhvervshus.  The job and career guidance is also offered as a drop-in service, which means that an appointment is not required.
