CPR registration

A CPR number is essential for all contact with Danish authorities and other public and private institutions including public healthcare. If you live in the City of Copenhagen - or in one of our 37 partner municipalities - you must apply for CPR registration. It is important that all the required documents are ready before you start the application process. Please note that you cannot submit your application earlier than four weeks before you arrive in Denmark.
