CPR registration & EU residence document

Registration

International Citizen Service (ICS EAST) at International House Copenhagen provides registration services for international citizens living in Copenhagen and in selected municipalities outside of the capital. The registration services include CPR registration, EU residence document, health card, NemID and tax card. Please note that all services are free.

CPR registration

A CPR registration is needed even if you have an administrative CPR number, TAX number or if you are re-entering Denmark.

EU residence document (SIRI)

All EU nationals who want to register as a resident in Denmark must apply for an EU residence document at SIRI.

NemID

You can order NemID in connection to your CPR registration or at a citizen service center.

Tax card

When coming to Denmark to work, you need a personal tax number and a tax card. You can apply for that here.

U2 form - transferring unemployment benefits

You must submit a U2 (PDU2) form in order to receive unemployment benefits from abroad.
