International Café: Crafts & Conversation at Ørestad Library

This event is organized by the Ørestad Welcome Ambassadors, and everyone is invited—whether you’re a neighbor or just passing through. There’s no set agenda, just tea, cookies, great company, and a chance to unwind. We’ll have some coloring materials on hand, but feel free to bring along any projects you’re working on—knitting, crocheting, drawing, painting, or whatever sparks your creativity.

About the project

Meet the International Ambassadors of Ørestad, a group of 8 volunteer ambassadors – both internationals and Danes – brought together by shared belief in community, inclusion, and the power of meaningful connection.

Together with the Copenhagen City Administration, team is creating welcoming spaces where newcomers and long-time residents can meet, talk, and grow together. Whether you’re new to Denmark or simply looking to expand your social circle, our events are open to everyone.
