Greater Copenhagen Neighbourhoods: Hidden Stories of Østerbro
Experience Østerbro in a new way on this guided urban walk, where local stories and shared exploration bring the district to life. Along the route, you will discover surprising narratives about football culture, political movements, forgotten burial mounds and curious urban symbols that reveal the many layers of the neighbourhood.
The walk is designed for internationals who want to deepen their connection to Copenhagen. As you move through the streets, you will not only gain new knowledge about the area, but also insights into everyday life and culture in the city. There will be space for dialogue and reflection, making it easy to exchange perspectives and experiences with others.
Whether you are new to Copenhagen or have lived here for a while, the walk offers an opportunity to see Østerbro with fresh eyes and feel more at home in the city. The event concludes with the option to continue the conversations in an informal setting, giving you the chance to build connections and strengthen your local network.
