International Café – by Welcome Ambassadors

Join us for our next International Café, an open and welcoming space where internationals and locals can come together for conversation, connection, and a hyggelig break in the middle of the week.

At the café, you’ll have the chance to meet others living in Copenhagen, exchange stories and experiences, and discover what’s happening in the area. Each café includes light snacks and simple activities that help spark conversation, the atmosphere is relaxed, and you can join at your own pace.

Everyone is welcome, and the café is open to newcomers, long-time residents, families, and anyone curious about the community around them.

About the project

Meet the International Ambassadors of Ørestad, a group of 8 volunteer ambassadors – both internationals and Danes – brought together by shared belief in community, inclusion, and the power of meaningful connection.

Together with the Copenhagen City Administration, team is creating welcoming spaces where newcomers and long-time residents can meet, talk, and grow together. Whether you’re new to Denmark or simply looking to expand your social circle, our events are open to everyone.

Let’s make Copenhagen feel more like home – together
