International Café – by Welcome Ambassadors

Are you interested to know why Denmark is consistently ranking among the happiest countries in the world? Then join us at Ørested Library on Thursday 28 May from 17:00 – 19:00. We will go deeper and discuss these key factors that supports this global ranking, reflect on our own experiences, share personal stories about happiness and examine the research findings on well-being in Denmark. In addition, we will also explore some of the aspects for which Denmark is well renowned for. 

The evening will include group discussions, informal exchange of information, so both Internationals and local participants can share their cultural values and experiences. This event aims to deepen mutual understanding and build friendly connections among participants.

About the project

Meet the International Ambassadors of Ørestad, a group of 12 volunteer ambassadors – both internationals and Danes – brought together by the shared belief in community, inclusion, and the power of meaningful connections.
 
Together with International House Copenhagen, the ambassador corps creates welcoming spaces where newcomers and long-time residents can meet, talk, and grow together - and make Copenhagen feel more like home.
