Copenhagen's Culture Houses: The Gateway to Your Local Community

Did you know that Copenhagen is home to 34 unique culture houses, each offering a welcoming space where citizens can connect with their local community through cultural and social events?

Join this digital event to explore what culture houses are, how they function, and how you, as an international citizen, can make the most of these vibrant hubs. Learn about the variety of activities they host and how they can enrich your life in Copenhagen.

The session is a webinar featuring a presentation by Amanda Sandegaard and Charlotte P. Bliddal. Amanda is a linguist and MA in children’s language and literature. She has been sharing her knowledge for 6 years at the Copenhagen Libraries and is the creator of the video series Strengthen Your Child’s Language. Charlotte Plesner Bliddal has a diverse background as a cultural communicator and development consultant at the Copenhagen culture houses BRØK, Union, and Kulturhuset Indre By.

The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session, where you can ask us anything related to the topic of the day.

So whether you’re new to the city or simply curious, this webinar offers a unique opportunity to discover new ways to connect with communities in Copenhagen. Don’t miss out — sign up today and bring your questions!

The event is co-funded by the European Union through the Interreg ØKS programme and part of the Cross-border Talent Bridge project. You can read more about the project here.
