CPR registration

You can apply for a CPR registration, if you have a place to live in Denmark and plan to stay for more than 3 months.

At this point you will enter the application process. You will be asked for many and various types of personal information including, but not restricted to, passport, personal id and address of residence in Denmark.

This information must be presented digitally and uploaded digitally to our database. This can be done via mobile telephone, so a physical computer is not necessary, however useful.

Once this information is received, a confirmation email will be sent to the relevant mailing address – this does not indicate a completed application, just that we have received information from an applicant.

Then our department will verify the received information. Should any of the collected information be problematic or incorrectly presented, then an email will be sent to the applicant informing of the discrepancies and how to rectify the same.

Here is where patience is needed. The application process can take up to four weeks to process.

When the information has been confirmed and verified an email will be sent containing a link to our appointment booking system where a physical meeting can be arranged with representatives in our offices.

An appointment cannot be arranged should the relevant information not have been received.

Here the applicant will receive their CPR number on a printed letter which can be used as proof of CPR number until the yellow card follows in the post approximately 4-5 weeks later.

And the process is herby complete.
