U2 form - exporting unemployment benefits
EU/EEA and Swiss citizens can export their unemployment benefit to other European countries, including Denmark, for 3-6 months – PDU2.
You need to register as a jobseeker within 7 days from the date stated on the front page of the PDU2 form you have received from either the employment services or the unemployment insurance fund in the country you left.
You must submit the U2(PDU2) form in order to receive unemployment benefits from abroad, which requires that you are registered as a jobseeker in Denmark.
Meet at the Jobcenter Copenhagen, Gammel Køge Landevej 43, 2500 Valby (Entrance G0) with the original PDU2 form and your ID-card or passport.
To comply with the Danish control measures you need to create your CV at Jobnet and continuously keep the CV active while unemployed.
The registration takes place in the local municipality of residence. Click here for a list of municipalities with cooperation agreements with International Citizen Service East in Copenhagen (ICS municipality), which can register the jobseeker on behalf of the municipality of residence.
If you need further information, please contact Jobcenter Copenhagen Karrierecentret.
