The Digital World of Denmark

Discover the ideas and innovations behind the world-leading digital society of Denmark!

Denmark’s digital society didn’t emerge overnight, but is the result of decades worth of innovation, collaboration and hard work. In this engaging session, we’ll guide you through the key milestones that has shaped Denmark’s digital journey, from the groundbreaking introduction of the CPR system in 1968 to the modern tools and services like NemID/MitID and borger.dk of today.

These systems streamline tasks like accessing medical records or managing taxes. We’ll explore the trust-based approach that underpins these systems and discuss how it reflects the values of the Danish society as a whole, balancing accessibility with security.

The session is a webinar featuring a presentation by Louise del Rosario Jensen, Head of Talent Attraction and Marketing at Digital Hub Denmark. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session where you can ask us anything related to the topic of the day.

So join us in exploring the ideas and innovations behind Denmark’s digital world, ask questions, and share your reflections on what it means to live in a highly digitized city like Copenhagen.

The event is co-funded by the European Union through the Interreg ØKS programme and part of the Cross-border Talent Bridge project. You can read more about the project here.
