International Café in Ørestad

Are you new to Denmark or looking to expand your social circle via exploring Copenhagen City? 

We invite you to the first International Café in Ørestad designed to create a welcoming space for newcomers, long-time residents, and anyone looking to connect and feel more at home in the city. 

Our first International Café theme is “Summer Like a Local”. 

The agenda of the day will be:

• Welcome session and intro from Ørestad Welcome Ambassadors
• Exploring the topic. Cultural habits and summer traditions in Copenhagen. Where to search for more information
• Experience exchange on real-life tips and personal favourites 

You’ll leave the café with new personal connections, and a handful of practical guides and ideas to enjoy the season in the city.

About the project. 

Meet the International Ambassadors of Ørestad. 

We are a group of 12 volunteer ambassadors – both internationals and Danes – brought together by our shared belief in community, inclusion, and the power of meaningful connection. 

Together with International House Copenhagen, we’re here to create welcoming spaces where newcomers and long-time residents can meet, talk, and grow together. Whether you’re new to Denmark or simply looking to expand your social circle, our events are open to everyone.
