Greater Copenhagen Neighbourhoods: Stories by the Water
Step into a neighbourhood where the city opens towards the water and where old harbour structures meet new ways of living. On this guided walk, you will experience how urban spaces evolve and how traces of the past still shape the present.
Along the route, you will hear selected stories from the area’s history, including moments that have left a lasting mark. At the same time, the walk invites you to look at the neighbourhood as it is today: a place where people meet, live and create new connections across backgrounds.
This walk is part of a broader exploration of Greater Copenhagen’s neighbourhoods and offers a chance to discover how different parts of the city are tied together. Through shared experiences and informal conversations along the way, the walk creates space for connection between internationals and locals.
You can expect both insight and interaction, with time to reflect, ask questions and exchange perspectives as the city unfolds around you.
