Community Café – by Welcome Ambassadors

The Community Cafés – by Welcome Ambassadors are warm, informal gatherings where newcomers and long-time residents can meet, share stories, and discover more about life in Copenhagen.

Each café offers a mix of conversation, activities, and inspiration. Sometimes the focus is on exploring the local area, while other times the theme may center on cultural topics, hobbies, or practical tips for everyday life. There is always time to chat, enjoy refreshments, and build new connections.

Each café has its own theme, which will be announced closer to the date. Participants are encouraged to reserve their spot in advance so that snacks and drinks can be planned for everyone.

About the project

Meet the International Ambassadors of Ørestad, a group of 12 volunteer ambassadors – both internationals and Danes – brought together by the shared belief in community, inclusion, and the power of meaningful connections.
 
Together with International House Copenhagen, the ambassador corps creates welcoming spaces where newcomers and long-time residents can meet, talk, and grow together - and make Copenhagen feel more like home. Whether you’re new to Denmark or simply looking to expand your social circle, you can join the events that are open to everyone.
