Community Café – by Welcome Ambassadors

Come join us at the Community Café in Ørestad! This friendly meetup brings together newcomers, long-time locals, internationals, and Danes for an evening of connection, laughter, and cultural exchange.

Living in Denmark means embracing the language—yes, even the tongue-twisting “rødgrød med fløde”! While this isn’t a language exchange café, we’ll explore language in a fun and relaxed way through some fun activities, shared experiences, and tips for finding the  joy in Danish (and in our own native languages, too!).
Expect:

About the project

Meet the International Ambassadors of Ørestad, a group of 12 volunteer ambassadors – both internationals and Danes – brought together by the shared belief in community, inclusion, and the power of meaningful connections.
 
Together with International House Copenhagen, the ambassador corps creates welcoming spaces where newcomers and long-time residents can meet, talk, and grow together - and make Copenhagen feel more like home. Whether you’re new to Denmark or simply looking to expand your social circle, you can join the events that are open to everyone.
