Engage in Your Local Community

30 Oct

Date

30.10.2018, 17:00 to 19:00
Free of charge
Join in and find out how you can get involved in your local community!

Would you like to get involved in your city and local community? And would you like to know more about how you can gain influence and make your opinion count?

This afternoon, we have invited experts on the field to tell you about the wide range of possibilities of getting involved in your local city area. For instance, have you thought of joining a local committee working for sustainability? Or the committee in your children’s kindergarten? Or maybe working to fight food waste or joining a political party?

You will get a unique chance to meet Niko Gründfeld, Mayor of Culture and Leisure Department. He will tell his own story of how he went from political grassroot activists to mayor in Copenhagen.

You can also meet Sia Boesen, project chief in Områdefornyelsen Sydhavn. Sia will give examples on how you can get involved in local projects and contribute with your own ideas.

There will be time for questions and networking. Join in and get inspired.

We will serve light catering during the event.
