Danish Workplace Culture

Are you familiar with the (un)written rules at your workplace? Do you know your rights and obligations as an employee in Denmark? Have you wondered how to handle conflicts within your team?

This informative event will provide you with an understanding of the unique Danish workplace culture, giving you the chance to discuss your everyday challenges in a workshop-based setting.

The event is a collaboration between International House Copenhagen, the Danish Society of Engineers (IDA) and Danish Industry (DI).

Volunteer Night 2024

Though financial benefit is not one of them, volunteering can still deliver a wealth of benefits. Self-worth, great fun and new friendships together with an opportunity to develop new skills, gain work experience and potential job opportunities are just some of the many returns. Making a difference in someone’s life or within your community makes volunteering a highly satisfactory and rewarding experience for most people.

The Danish Tax System

Soon your tax assessment notice will be available to you and with it comes the information of whether you’re in for a nice surprise or not. We are here to help you out and answer the questions you may have about the tax assessment or just in general about taxes.

The Danish tax system online Q&A will be held live on March 19 and April 3 where you'll be able to ask the Danish Tax Agency your tax questions.

Rentals & Cooperative Housing

Interested in renting a home or buying cooperative housing in Denmark?

At this event, we will guide you through the Danish housing market and what you should look out for when considering renting a place to live or buying cooperative housing. We will present different kinds of financing options and how the Rent Control Board can support you as a tenant.

This event will take place in collaboration with Danske Bank and the Rent Control Board.
